The saai gives internal and external scholars an opportunity to carry out studies on issues
of architectural history. The focus lies on the 19th and 20th centuries.
The results of such research are presented in temporary exhibitions
and lasting publications.
Hereby, the saai contributes to the public comprehension of building culture as well as cultural history.
